Education

  • B.S. in Computational Physics - 2009 - Carnegie Mellon University - Pittsburgh, PA
  • Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science - 2015 - Colorado State University - Fort Collins, CO
  • Career Overview

After receiving my PhD from Colorado State Univeristy in May 2015, I joined the ANR HEAT project in Paris, France. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at LAGA at the University of Paris 13.

    Research Interests

The major focus of my work is atmospheric dynamical core development, specifically the use of structure-preserving discretization methods and variational formulations (including Hamiltonian approaches). More information about my research and publications, including the Galerkin discretization software package Themis, can be found by following the links above. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions or are interested in collaborating!
