Description: 
Jaroslaw MederskiWe look for solutions to the curlcurl problem involving a nonlinearity with subcritical or Sobolevcritical exponent. The problem comes from the timeharmonic Maxwell equations, where a medium is surrounded by a perfect conductor or is the whole threedimensional space. The equation involving the critical exponent appears also in the search of zero modes for the spinor equation. We build a functional setting and a variational approach for this strongly indefinite problem will be presented. We show the existence of ground states and bound states.
