Ngô Quon AnhIn this talk, I will describe a new approach to obtain Liouville-type results for positive smooth solutions to a linearly perturbed subcritical/critical GJMS equation of order 2m on the unit n-sphere with n<2m. This is done by exploiting some new property of the n-sphere.  In the special case n=3 and m=2, such the Liouville type result was recently conjectured by F. Hang and P. Yang (Int. Math. Res. Not. IMRN, 2020). As a by-product, we obtain several sharp Sobolev inequalities for GJMS operators on the n-sphere. This is joint work with Ali Hyder. |
