Oral and Poster Presentation

Guide for Authors

Manuscripts should be prepared for review following standard procedures for scientific publications. Please use the style  provided here in the file article-hermes.cls.  A sample (sample-hermes.tex)  in latex  (for using article-hermes.cls) and in pdf also (sample-hermes.pdf), is provided to serve as a guide.

Please check  if your presentation is oral or poster on the tentative schedule

Oral presentations are scheduled for 20 minutes including 5 minutes for discussion. Authors are thus asked to concentrate on the essential of their papers. We recommend overhead  or computer projection.

Posters should correspond to  the European format A0 l (84.1cm x
118.9cm).  The boards   which they will be pinned to are 1m20x1m20.
Each poster will also be introduced in a 5 minutes  plenary oral session,  so please prepare 3 to 5 transparencies.

Computer video-projection
For the oral presentations, a PC  under LINUX linked to a videoprojector  will be available.
The format of the projected document may be pdf(.pdf), postscript(.ps),
openoffice(.sdw,.sda,.sdc), or plain text.

It may be on a diskette, CDROM or ZIP 100Mo.

Reminder
All accepted papers whether presented at oral or poster sessions,  are published under the same format and in the same chapters of the proceedings.  These will be available at the conference.
