Each academic year, two calls are successively launched for the upcoming year: The first call is from October to January 31st and concerns generally overseas students (outside of Europe) for whom it is necessary to engage in applying for visa. All information on Campus France The second call is from February to May 1st and concerns more generally EU citizens (Espace Schengen) and the overseas students who already have a residence permit in France valid for the whole academic year.

The Master in Mathematics and Applications gives students a solid education in applied mathematics or mathematical engineering and spends equal time on teaching both fundamental and practical skills. It helps students become more independent and analytical and introduces them modeling and quantitatively processing real-life cases. We ensure our programs keep pace with the needs of large companies and research institutions with respect to development, R&D, and research. The Master in Mathematics and Applications splits into two tracks during the second year of the program: A professional track: Mathematical and Biostatistics Engineering A professional and research track: Mathematics, Modeling, and Machine Learning

The aim of this master is to provide strong mathematical skills to students who have commited themselves to a career in research in mathematics, or in applications of mathematics to concrete issues, specially in the domain of data sciences. The first year of the master is also adapted to students who wish to prepare afterwards the agrégation degree in mathematics (a French competitive exam to become a teacher).

The fruit of collaboration between Ecole Normale Supérieure - PSL, Dauphine - PSL, the Master's degree "Mathematics and applications" from Université PSL provides advanced training in fundamental and applied mathematics. The training is backed by the mathematics and IT laboratories of ENS and Paris-Dauphine, as well as the research centers of partner institutions, and is part of PSL graduate program in Mathematics and applications. Its ambition is to train specialists in mathematics in the broad sense, preparing for professions both in the academic sector and in those of the service and industrial sectors where modeling takes a predominant place.

There are 2 calls of applications each year:
1) October 1st 2019 to January 22nd 2020 (11.59 pm, Paris Time) : this call is open to students who carried out a bachelor degree or a first year of master outside of France.
2) December 1st 2019 to May 08th 2020 (11.59 pm, Paris Time) : this call is open for the same students above mentioned and students whocarried out a bachelor degree or a first year of master in one of the universities of the FSMP's network.
