Description
The supervised research work is an important mart of Master 1. Every student spends two full months, in May and June, for the study of a subject in fundamental or applied mathematics. He is supervised by a teacher-researcher of the laboratory of mathematics of Sorbonne Paris Nord, the LAGA. The student reads one or two research articles, treats some examples, if needed does computer simulation. The research works is then summed up in a thesis and an oral defense.
