Recent years have seen a tremendous progress in the field of algebraic
K-theory and related themes,
including for example the recent proof of the redshift conjecture for
commutative ring spectra, or, in a different direction, the development
of
hermitian and real algebraic K-theory for Poincaré
categories.
In this context, trace methods provide a powerful tool for both
computational and structural results, whose hermitian and real aspects
remained until recently
largely unexplored.
This conference aims to bring together international and local experts to present and discuss the most recent developments
in algebraic and real algebraic K-theory, trace methods, and applications.
